Very cool stuff, I've always wondered how well those perform! And how you keep from scratching the hell out of them!

stock they are ok...but add a modified motor and they haul ***. with the stock rear tire and this new motor I was spinning at least 3 feet on take off at full throttle and anything over 1/4 throttle in a turn resulted in the rear stepping out. the high grip tire helped out a lot but I can still make the rear break loose in a turn. and mine is still considered slow because some people are stickin mamba's and lipo's in em. and they have wire "outriggers" to protect the body in a fall but I don't need them since I have been runnin bikes a long time.

Cool, King! I like you more & more! My bike is the same, but has the DMC-20BB motor- Same thing w/ bearings. I aquired the oil shocks for the front, and chain set-up (Mine was originally a belt drive.) It's in pieces right now, as I painted it blue, then changed my mind-That gold is pretty cool! How does that steering mod work compared to stock? I've not seen that before, but you say you've driven a lot of bikes, so there must be a reason. Let us in on it PLEEEZE!! Cheerio, Chris

I definately never understand how do those bike work
I mean why they didn't fell on a side? and how do you control the cornering inclination?
I owned motorcycles from years and I'll prolly buy another next year, but never understand how to control a RC bike without a moving body on top of it ;)

the direct steering mod eliminates the front wheel swinging from side to side to turn and instead makes the forks turn just like a real motorcycle. it is waay more responsive and this makes driving them a lot more fun. the weird thing is when holding the bike and turning the wheel on the controller the wheel on the bike turns the opposite direction...so turning left with the controller makes the forks turn right...causing the bike to fall to the left and your countersteering makes it stay upright...this sounds weird but when the bike is leaned over...and you turn left...the bike turns more left. and turning right uprights it and vice versa...figure that one out lol ( it also looks better in slow sharp turns because the front wheel is where it is supposed to be instead of way over in the middle of the turn)

thanks...the bodywork was intended for a 2 stroke race bike...I made the 4 stroker style muffler and stuck tail lights in the 2 stroke mufflers holes in the tail section.

That's exactly how full-size bikes steer, believe it or not! When you're going real slow, it would not appear so, but at any speed, feel which way the bars press on your hands: You'll be astounded. This aspect of 2-wheel chassis dynamics' name eludes me at the moment, but when you learn anything about road racing, this is one of the 1st things you'll learn. Seriously! This is not one of my 'Joking' posts! Chris
