Default LKT-81 log skidder

Hi,

All Metal RC 1/10 scale LKT-81

I started building in November last year, now the machine is almost ready.
Need to fit the wheels, wheels still need to be cut and glued.
I`m gonna use the Tamiya glodbuster wheels, cut and glued, width about 5cm.
Metal i used is 2mm thick and body panels are 1mm thick.

Tractor is 60cm long and weighs 5,5kg

Axles and gearbox is from Axial scx10.

All metal parts is self made

Few pics and video links to build videos:

Looks good

5cm wide Clod wheels is really short though, like 1/2 the normal width Might have been easier to use a regular set of 2.2" truck wheels, that said the shortened clod wheels look pretty cool on your FB page

Time has passed, little has happened.
The tractor is almost ready, hydraulics are only missing ...
New motor is installed, 80T instead of 55T and new spurgear (bigger),
to get more power because the tractor is heavy.

a few pictures and a new video:

Very cool, that looks like it's a beast!

How big of trees can it pull out of the woods?

Might want to find a 1/10 scale snatch block so you don't kink up the winch lines.

Actually i guess choke lines or choke chains might make more sence than the snatch block i suggested.

Could you get some pics of the fairleads? i've been wondering about adding one to my Draglines crowd rope
