Default Losi MRC Suzuki Samurai *Dash started*

Picked this up last friday, as an early "merry x-mas present" to myself and boy I am glad I did... I was messing around with it in the basement and its gonna be a real fun rig.

Specs are:
Losi MRC
TCSCrawlers L trail chassis
Internal spring front shocks
Custom made rear leaf spring suspension set up
Sammy body with custom rear drop bed and cage
TCSCrawlers wideners
custom front bumper and winch
Hummer wheels

Plans are:
Finish interior
Add headlights
Rock sliders
Rear bumper with spare tire carrier
Rc4wd prowler tires
and then???

Thanks for looking
Mike

Cool! Now that's a neat little rig, especially with all the cool little details that stand out. Those fender wells in the bed are awesome!!! They give it a lot of extra realism and even look as though there's a scale weld bead holding them on!

Oh, and do you have any info on the chain shown in a couple of the pics?

Thanks in advance and keep the pics coming,
-Alex

So, I take it this is a 1/10 scale trail rig now, albeit a small one since Samurai's are small? Would these axles match up with a Wild Willy body? How do they handle the extra weight?

Alex,
I didnt build the rig as you see it now so I am not sure where the scale chain came from. I will see if I can ask the original owner though

David, I would assume its 1/10 scale, although looking at it in comparison to my XJ body which is 1/10 scale this body is proportionately larger so maybe its closer to 1/9? maybe even 1/8?

This rig is very light so I am sure the axles will be fine. Unfortunately I sold my OG WW1 some years ago so I cant mock the axles up for you.

probably will leave the suspension alone, but I did find some losi mini shocks so I am going to fab up some rear shock mounts to mount them up.
