**UPDATED** Contest Extended! Ultimate Tundra Build Contest! Open to ALL!
Tamiya America, Inc is proud to announce our third Ultimate Build Contest. With the success of our first two contests with the Highlift chassis, we anticipate bigger and better builds. Rules and information are as follows: Contest Dates: March 17, 2009 through May 3, 2009 **Update** Contest Deadline has now been extended to June 21st, 2009 All "Ultimate Builders" are encouraged to submit their Masterpieces to us for the ultimate prize consideration. The winner of this contest will be judged based on but not limited to best paint job, which includes finish and most unique styling. Modifications to the chassis/Body and details including use of scale accessories will also be considered and the best overall complete package will be deemed the winner. Contest Prize: The Grand Prize for this contest will be a Highlift Multi function unit (MFC-02). This unit includes many features including: engine sound effects, light units and truck miscellaneous sound effects. 2nd and 3rd Place Prizes will be awarded from RC4WD, RPP Hobby and Tamiya (details to follow) Rules: * Worldwide Entries! * One entry per person * Only Kit #58415 may be submitted for entry. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58415 * Must have a working Tamiya Highlift 3Speed Transmission * A Tamiya Toyota Tundra body must be used, but can be modified (Stretched, Chopped, etc) from the stock mold. * Kit #58415 chassis must be used, including the axles * You may substitute Wheels and Tires * Body or image must not have "ANY" web address (URL) or e-mail address displayed (Except www.TamiyaUSA.com, www.TamiyaCrawlers.com, www.Tamiya3Speed.com, www.scale4x4rc.us, www.rc4wd.com or www.rpphobby.com) * Entry e-mail must be properly formatted and submitted for judging (see below "How to Enter") * No inappropriate images (Backgrounds or subjects). Hints and Tips: * Your Photos are judged! * Clean well lit, and thought out photos will have a better chance. * Be Unique! * FOLLOW ALL RULES! * Choose the "RIGHT" background or scene. * High resolution images are a plus (If we can't see details we can't judge them). How to Enter: * Send us an e-mail. * Attach up to 5 jpeg pictures (The higher Resolution the better for judging). * Include (Name, Address (No PO BOX's), and Phone # (In case we need to contact you) in the e-mail and Scale4x4rc.us username * FOLLOW ALL THE RULES!. * Send to this e-mail address (tundra@tamiya.com). no offence its cool that they are doin this, but ya think tamiya could give away something better than an MFU. i mean, its not like they cant swing a kit or something to the winner.
good luck to everyone that enters, imagine there are gonna be some wild rigs coming out of the contest.
