Default 1.9 and 2.2 scale event, lots of pics!

A few pics of this past weekend's event at Belle Isle in Richmond...what a great time! The 1.9 courses were completed by everyone, we wanted to make it enjoyable for all. We set the courses up in more of a tough truck fashion, with the lowest time through the course being the winner. We had a vehicle to be 'rescued' in course 1, and lots of water crossings in course 2. We still want to fine tune how we run the courses, and we have some cool ideas for future events, but for the first run through....we were all VERY pleased! Hopefully, VARCOR will be holding a large event at Belle Isle later this spring or early summer.....look for it!

Looks like that was a fun event. I may have to try to make it up there from NC for the large event when you have it. I know some of my local ncrcc comp crawlers have gone up there already for the comp events at that site and said it was an awesome location. I have a 2.2 scaler completed and should have a 1.9 by this fall.

You will be more than welcome, and I think you will love the location...it's got tons of room and there is no end to the possible course layouts!

The comp class was going on at the same time. One guy was jumping back and fourth between classes. You can go out there and all day trail riding and not hit the same place twice.. Great event and I look forward to more scale events.....

Any ideas when the late spring\early summer event will be? I will be in Montana June 19 - 27 (taking my comp and scale crawler with me)
