Have one what? It's hard for me to answer a question placed in the wrong forum without proper punctuation.

If you want answers, you gotta ask a specefic question. I'd love to help but I have no clue what a "Komodo" is other than a large lizard. Google didn't even help me out...

...is it this thing per chance?

He's talking about the KOmodo 1.9 and Xl scale trucks from Happy Time Hobby.
They look decent not sure about the quality though.

is that the kit that was posted a few weeks back that looks like a blatant rip off of the rc4wd kit?

Now before we start a big battle as to if this a blatant rip off, it is a very poor copy and that's right from the RC4WD guy himself. A guy did a write up with pics on RCC about this truck and the debate started and Racer4Life said he didn't care because if it was a copy it was a bad copy.

Yep I agree, and ya RC4WD agrees also but it all comes down to a matter of quality. You could buy this RTR and get a great six months out of it, or go with RC4WDs stuff and get a long long time out of it. I'm guessing that's why they aren't to concerned, look at how much of their stuff, or other quality RC bits have been copied by poor quality companies. They come and go.
Nothing but a flash in the pan!

I've seen pics. Not that bad looking. But out of the Komodo 1.9, and the Trailfinder...

I'd get an Axial SCX.

Honestly, I would be VERY wary of this thing.....they have bacteria in their mouths that can kill a human....and I think they are WAY to large for 1.9s!
