Default 1.55 8lug?

Maybe its just me, but i'v been hoping for a simple 8 lug rim in a 1.55. IMO the 1.55's look more scale on most of the bodies that are out at this time. But an 8 lug, is more appropriate for some of the builds that wanta look like they have scale 1ton axles... F350 body with 8lug 1.55's should look pretty nice... Or any of the smaller (1/12) bodies for that matter. (Clod or blackfoot). What do yall think about this?

I'm guessing this didnt interest anybody. Or if its just not possible to make these, can someone explain why? Something like the true scale series beadlock was what I had in mind. But in a 1.55.

When you look at it from a scale point of veiw 8 lug wheels would normally be bigger.

The 8-Lugs on my F250 are 17" I believe. Semi rims and tires are a pretty good scale 8-Lug rim/tire combo, Ive seen them used and they look pretty good.

Cheers,

Back in the day 8 lugs were 16.5 but the problem is getting 8 lugs around the hex. With 6 it's easy.

16" is the smallest 1:1 8 lug wheel made other than some custom made 15".

In the completely opposite direction, I'd like to see 5 studs.

Perfect for Jeeps, F-trucks and little old Broncs.

Thanx Stue. I think ur answer was the closest to what i was lookin for. Maybe its just a bit to hard to fit that many lugs in such a small space. Just thought it may be a cool idea to see in the future from RC4WD.

Pretty sure they already have a 1.55 with 5 lugs. But no 5 lug beadlocks. And i could be wrong, but isnt an 18in wheel in 1/12th scale about 1.5"? As I have 18s on my 05 f250, i was using it as a referance.

Any chance of seeing a 1.55 wheel with 8 lugs in the future? Come on RC4WD. These would be for on an F350 body.

Something like the true scale beadlock that they already make, but in a 1.55, may be good for alot of people. I'v been trying all morning to get a picture to post up but can't figure it out. Sorry. Idealy I would like some just like my 1:1. But the style of my 1:1 may not be liked by everyone.
