True, but the only drag bug or drag vw I liked had a small block shoe-horned in the front, halfway into the "boot" and the firewall with Hilborn injection coming out of the windshield, but I think I just liked it for the injection coming through the windshield part

i dont know if it has been done before or mentioned earlier in the posting, but i have just started my own challenge for the fun of it and thought it would be a cool build off. I am starting with a fastlane jeep crawler found at toys-r-us for 35-40 buck when not having the buy one get one half off sale. The idea would be to maintain as much as possible. immediate discard for stock electronics, but bonus points for those that do. They have very scale looking axles therefore potential for scalers. Also the low budget helps many with the challenge of custom built not bought.
