I should have, would have made for less work

Spent too much time screwing around with the chassis and stuff. Didn't get a lot of bodywork in today. I did get the bed done though.

Cool

Nice! I like how you even tied in the indented stripe through the door handle area. Details, it's about details. Wouldn't even have to be accurate, just as long as it looked accurate.

What base color are you gonna go with?

Is this 1 gonna be yours, or is it a project for some 1 else?

You could of avoided the whole frame extension if you shortened the bed. I've noticed that most of the quad cab Nissan Frontiers and Toyota Tacomas have a shortened bed. Looks like they cut off the front half just in front of the start of the fender. I've thaught about doing an 85' quad cab with a cut bed to fit an SCX10 (course, i would ask you 1st since your Yota conversions are the bomb-diggitty). Then i figuer it would be a minor addition of a few mm spacer to the links to line up the axles to the wheel wells.

I don't know what color to do. I might paint it green. I've never had a green truck. This one is going to be all mine. I took 1-1/2" out of the front of the bed. Notice how short it is in front of the wheel. I still had to extend the chassis by 1-3/4". No way around that, but I'm not afraid to cut things. If someone wants to send me another Bruiser frame, I'll ruin that too.

On a 2nd look, i do see that you cut te bed. My bad, that's what i get for looking around here when i'm having problems sleeping @ 2am.

Green would look cool. Is it gonna be a true green, hunter, lime or millitary?

Bought some green and didn't like it. Went with something different. I hope I can get some paint on it by Monday. I just want to finish a lot of the interior fitting and stuff before then so I don't wreck the new paint.

Thanks! I know, it's a crew cab and a Toyota. How cool is that? It probably wouldn't look too bad pulling the trailer with another yota on it. Whether or not it could actually do it in real life is another story.

I've been up until 2am that past few nights working on it. As I look back I'm not sure what took so much time, I have a long way to go still. Stress!

1:44am and I don't even have anything to show for being up this late. I think I spend too much time watching netflix movies instead of building
