Fantastic work! But in answer to what do you think, it should be mounted on the rear hatch just below the window. The tailgate has two tabs that rotate and lock into place from the inside.


Edit, well from the factory anyway, looks like some people have modified tailgates with handles/cables. Like this guy.....
