Thanks for the hello
i posted this thread as i thought i couldnt start a new thread but it was in the buy/ sell / trade forum as i wanted to post a wanted ad for a king hauler and i didnt know that i couldnt post yet so i am sorry for the inconvience as i didnt read the rules.

the rules were changed to cope with people coming to the board just to scam people out of their money (or trucks), which we have had a run of recently. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause

Hey spoon I think its a good rule, buttttt it kinda of sucks for ppl that dont scam people, but atleast if they get to that high (50? I think) then that means they care, or are big scammers that need to go down!

true, but well known people can E-mail the mods/admins requesting that they be given access to the BST forums, obviously if you have a reputation on other boards and have people that can vouch for you as a sound trader it is merely a formality to allow them to trade.

what we are trying to safeguard against is those who are totally unknown and may not be trustyworthy.

Reality is, it doesn't take that long to rack up 50 posts. Given the number of pop in sellers we've had recently I don't think it is to much to ask of people who want to use our forums as a market place to atleast contribute in a minor way.
