Hummer that is one piece of fine work you did there. I like it a lot. The only thing that king of looks out of scale are the rims. Maybe you could try to replicate the tamiya hummer wheels.

heres some new shots with hood.. havent done anything new on the hood yet.. "let the pictures speak"

(notice the tires in the first pic , theyre flattening out even with all four tires on the ground and inserts!)

actually , on page 1-4 somewhere i think there are pictures of some wheels i made for it.. but i dont remember why i didnt make 4..

That looks sweet! Very nice job. Will the flattening tires problem help with traction though? I don't think I would worry about it unless it really gets on your nerves or if I am wrong.

Hey I was just reading back through the past few pages...I can't get enough of your build.
I thought I recognized the picture you pulled off h1hummer.com. Almost all the trucks/owners on that site are members of the Hummer Mailing List

The guy that owns/runs the h1hummer.com site is also a member there. He is a smart ***, but still pretty cool.
That place is a WEALTH of knowledge when it comes to all things Hummer, and some of those guys are in Europe & the UK as well as the USA.

I bet they'd love seeing your scale Hummer (and they share our opinion of GM and the desecration of the Hummer name for the most part).

Can't wait to see what this rig will do offroad.

yeah see I thought it was electric from looking at the pics but when I saw the thingy on the Tamiyaclub it said nitro. But the Tamiyaclub has mixed up pics and descriptions for them with other members rides just recently so it wouldn't surprise me if thats what happen with the Hummer. I really hate the new updated Tamiyaclub.

Wow. Incredible! I always liked the brute look of the originals and your model captures the look perfectly! I like the paint, the tires, the doors, the front hood.....the whole darn thing. Excellent modeling. I should get out of the big rig forum more. I would have seen this sooner! You are going to have one heck of a scale truck when it's done. Have you driven it yet?
