Continued the build tonight.

Steering started

Steering links fully installed

Center driveshaft

Servo install

Top chassis bracing

ESC installation

Running the wires underneath, nicely tucked.

Nicely designed location for the on/off switch, also the Rx tray underneath the chassis (not sure about this location).

Silicone wire seal for the Rx box.

The build continued tonight.
Started on the transmission.

Yes, there is a bearing missing on the front shaft, but I caught it before assembling.

Transfer case, notice the gear on the far right does not have shaft, it will fit onto the output shaft of the transmission.

That gear is on the right in the image below.

Installation of what will be the motor mount and slipper cover.

Below is a series of pictures showing the slipper clutch install.

Fully assemble

More progress.

Started on the rear portion of the truck chassis.

Both sides installed

Close up of the notches.

Work on the swaybar

Swaybar installed on the chassis portion, noting the grub screw.

Fully installed...looks like some sort of weird spider.

Where's the popcorn? Anxiously awaiting for mine to arrive. Living vicariously through this thread until then.

Hmm...question: Page 8 on the directions shows part number AX30842 - 16t pinion, 5mm shaft...and looks like a 5mm shaft on the motor install page.

However, looking at the pic in the manual, as well as your pic above, this looks like a 3.2mm shaft pinion....

Are you able to clarify? Just want to be sure I have the right set-up ready to go.

Thanks again for this informative build thread!

In my kit the pinion was for a 5 mm shaft, I had to have axial send me one for a 3 mm shaft. I mention the correct part number in the video.
