I would love some 1980's Rally's with true stock tires.... Even some wide white walls and 6 lug looking steelies with an acorn cap.
Any who.. time for some more details....lol. Back soonage.
Wow the bef looks awesome with the cab. An alternate on-road look would be cool, regarding the wheels, these might be a nice starting point, the ones I got below are 3mm offset but can be had with 6 and 10mm offset. If you want a staggered, wide rears, you could mod 10mm wheels offset wheels to make them wider.

You could also add center cap, and paint the fake sidewall (plastic) in white and it would look just like a tall white sidewall tire.

Be warned not all types of tires look hood on these wheels though. Because of the angle of the fake sidewall, you can easily end up with double sidewall bulge which does not look right at all. In that pic I lightly sanded (1000 grit) the fake sidewall to remove the gloss so it looks more like rubber.

Edit : the wheels are Street Jam Tatsujin

Time to get serious and find a source for bigger Styrene. Build a better vacuum table and "step it up". I'm already breaking this down into how it can be done.
Hey buddy, this is where I bought my styrene....in 2011 ( Yep 4 years ago!). I picked up 3 sizes ,0.5mm, 1.0mm and 2.0mm thickness. I haven't bought styrene since, not even strips, as I use the balsa stripper to make my own strips! Well except for the tubing that I needed!
They cut it in 12"x12" pieces, but if you call them up, they can cut it 12x24, or whatever sizing you want.
If I recall correctly,I bought 12-2mm, 24-1mm and 48-0.5mm pieces! Cost was around 35.00 dollars then, but shipping was like 40.00 because of the weight and using Fedex and shipping to the east coast from Cali ..lol! Still worth it though when you consider 3 pieces costing 10-15.00 with shipping from the hobby shops or eBay...
