reddevildemo has passed.
Sorry to bring sad news but the other day I read a quick post in the chit-chat section of RCC simply stating that Darin, reddevildemo, had passed. No other info was given.

This morning I sent a PM to his account in hopes that someday someone from his family might read it, not knowing if anyone would be able to get into his account. Within 5 minutes, I got a reply. It was from his wife Tricia whom verified that he did pass on Saturday from a sudden heart attack. I expressed my sadness for their loss and offered to help in any way possible.

I never met him in person, but we exchanged plenty of PM and e-mails over the years in regards to our 1/6th scale Jeeps, being ex-jar heads and sometimes just just mindless chit chat. I'll miss him and I'm sure that many will miss his creativeness in his build threads.

Semper Fi Darin!

Yes, I am going to set up a memorial thread for Darin. I just spoke with him on Friday and he was gone Saturday. I'll have it posted soon.

Sad indeed. Darin and I were going back and forth on a thread one night and he finally asked if I was on FB. I told him I was and we friended each other and the conversation continued for another 1/2 hour. He was a good guy and he will be missed. It's a shame that he went too soon, but in my beliefs, God had another need for him. RIP Darin.

Darin Demeny aka Red Devil Demo passed away this past weekend. He was a Marine, and one hell of a guy. I never met Darin in Person but we spent many hours chatting and swapping ideas. He was a good friend to me and I will miss him deeply.

Here is an excerpt from Darin's Face Book page:

"To all who loved Darin Demeny it deeply saddens me to say that he has passed away suddenly yesterday. I am still in shock and can't believe it. I will be posting more about his funeral arrangements in a few day
Thank you all for your love and support"

"Darin had a heart attack at home shortly after he woke after working third shift."

Here is Darin's Funeral information and where we can send condolences to his family:

Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay), Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 1 PM to 4PM. A time for sharing memories will follow at 4 PM with full military honors. Darin loved ugly shirts, so please wear the ugliest shirt you own in his honor. For more information, or to leave an on-line condolence for the family, please visit or call (920) 432-4841.

Darin had some amazing builds. He had more than I have here and when I find more I will post them.

In honor of my Fallen Brother's talents I adding these pictures as attachments and will also link to the build threads. This way his pics will last as long as this forum and hopefully longer.

I wish I had a build of Darin's that I could place in my collection in honor!

RIP Darin, you and your ugly shirts will be missed.

Darin started this Garage and I don't know if he ever set it up in the new house. But it was huge and amazing. He has a post with his first garage I will post when I can as well.

Darin and I built this Hot Rod, he did the body, and added those extra details he was awesome at to the motor and designed the front light mounts and the fuel cell up front. Thanks for all of your help on this one Brother!
