That is amazing work:drool: I can't belive you dented it!!!!

MrMunster 03-30-2011 04:14 PM

Yeah, took some courage to dent this puppy, but it wouldn't be a true " mini mine" without them, always new I would have to dent it one day

Vince Cobley ran the Warn Winch Challenge, and yep, he is an off-roading god. Got to know him, nice bloke and I'm proud that 'lil ole me managed to impress him with my driving ability :D Especially as I was driving the.1:1 of this build :D:D

The 1:1 of this build is only my second (only ever needed two) which I've had for a snip under 18yrs, it's a keeper! Glad you like this build and i'll keep an eye out for your Wolf, got a thread?

I'll be putting it on here very soon (like, a day or two..). It's nearing completion now. As far as 1:1s, I've only ever had the one, but I aspire to find another when the timing/money is right. They are WAY overpriced here in the US, especially a 90 or 110.

Man you have got some cojones for denting this beauty but hey, you HAD to do it! Looks faaantastic!

RCJEEPBUILDER 03-31-2011 02:06 PM

Now thats better!!!dents add character and your build is for sure not lacking in that department!!

awesome work dude.
question though-
if the mini me gets dented somewhere else, will you dent the 1:1 to match?

Oh yes :p
:update:

Done a couple of extra details before some paint goes on....Rear Badge

Vents

Aluminium etch primer

I got lucky with the rear badge, some years ago a small company produced a set of pin badges to celebrate 50 years of the Land Rover. I managed to track them down and it turned out they were only based a 30min drive away :)
After a few e-mails went for a visit, they still had a couple left so I bought them :nice:
