Bike is equipped with a slew of alloy parts, it's running a 8000kv Mamba on a 2S lipo, transmission includes both alloy and delrin gears along with Rogue Element Components' sweet titanium sprocket to handle the power. This is what happened about 2 seconds after takeoff after doing a backflip.:lolbeat:
The good news is the bike still runs and the gears have no problems with the power

Fun Bike I have a RGV-T With the Castle Sidewinder 8000kv. I had it out last week and the stock sprockets broke in five minutes. I just got in the HR gears. Going to try to have it back up and running before the end of the weekend. Do you run the stock compound tires? I'm wondering if I should get the sticky tires. On mine one minute it will wheelie and then the next minute it will cook the tire.

The tires are from ZH Racing for their Z201B, fits perfectly on the HOR and has much better traction than the Kyosho ones. Here's a short vid of the body-less rider:rolling:

Looks like it handles really nice. What pinion gear are you running?

Just the plastic one that came with the kit.:)

It does look to handle well. Thats why i took the bl setup out of my mclarney,i couldn't get any power down without backflipping.

It's a pretty durable bike for beginners, crashed it plenty of times head on and it's still going strong except for the rider coming apart. Took the ZH Racing Z201B out the other day and already broke the metal gear steering servo and some steering linkage parts after the first head on collision with the curb. It's a nice bike and all, but just not as beginner-friendly as the Kyosho HOR's.
