Welcome kaidogg, chassis is 3mm 6061 aluminum plate, and the "cagework" is brass tubing soldered together with silver solder. Rethinking that however as it's not as strong as I had hoped it would be. Live and learn. I used a torch ilo a soldering iron, but the concepts are the same, yes.

while we were having dinner . we though that why not do the whole thing with rod cage , but , you said silver solder It's not strong enough , I note that they are good for electronics , and if we want a stronger solder joins. which solder do u prefer ?

we saw many types of solder in target and K-Marts ... eyes blowing to choose from .. and that sales guy we talked to .... he's defiantly a part time job .
