Default K30 Clod.....rebuild K5 style

Well I landed this little beauty from SMM-CBF and decided the body could use a make over. While im at it I figured the chassis could use a make over too.

Im probably going to get hated for this because it use to look so good, and the pics are awfully ugly. But the sun roof needs to get filled in, theres lumps from the window screws that need to get fixed as well as some rash from use. I will keep the blue color the same, plus the paint could use a new fresh super glossy coat. As far as the chassis, its getting painted flat black, shaved axles and theres a few little things I plan to change around to improve the stability of the rig. We'll see what happends

From this

To this

The roof that could use to work

Those flares and emblems were a pain to remove, but they finally came off.

strip it, sand it, body filler, clean up the lines. repaint it the same blue, or my favorite colour "shiny forest green" then do this.

The body had a good amount of rash on it, and there were some things on the chassis like the body mounts, some paint and other things. It'll look the same when done, but it'll have a much deeper shine to it

Frame rails are painted and done, I went with flat black for a more real chassis look.

Axles are shaved, and look a little less toyish

A new shine to the marked up flares and sliders, clear coat to come in a few minutes
