MA-HA-HAAN!! JUST when I was gonna see my wheels on it!!

Isn't Photobucket a dinosaur in today's world? Seems I heard of that sometime before cell phones and ESC's. /

C'mon Harry, use the same method as....Uh...People who can post pictures! Chris REC

I really don't know what I'm going to do or how to do it. I'm thinking about moving all the pics into separate folders (though most are) and just linking to the actual folder where people can still look at the pics. 11 years of threads is a lot of work to go back and re-do to an audience that does not really come around much anymore. I'm refusing to pay photobucket's fee and their uploaded has sucked for years, let alone not work on the iPad. I also do not think I can download the entire folder either. I think I have to download each individual picture which really blows. I'll figure something out and I'll send you some pictures if you want them Chris.

Yup, but what a pain! I just use the 'Manage Attachments' thing under the text when posting & works perfect every time: Is that not an option for some reason? (I'm not hip to all the technical reasons that may not work.) Chris REC

When I first got on here, I read about getting a photo host site and I followed the leader with photobucket. I have a flicker account and I have seen where it was used as a host, but I have not seen where I can link it. I have not looked yet either. As far as the manage attachments, I haven't tried it until this morning and found out that I would need to resize the pics. Bugger

Yeah, the reduction is a minor pain, but the Manage Attachments otherwise is seamless. Just adjust your- Phone, I imagine- To take smaller pics before shooting? I used a 1.0 megapixel camera for many years so did not have that problem My eye can't tell the difference between those 1.0 shots & the new 196.0 megapixel shots anyway: Not everyone is doing portraiture (OR ARE THEY???) Yeah ...this sucks big time Harry! I have started transferring my pics across to Flickr...but I'm doing it one pic at a time, post by post....working backwards from my last uploaded pics.... I also use an iPad so it's pretty time consuming....

paint.net is a good program and has an easy way to reduce file size
