Why do all Series 3 have those same 2 dents on the wings, mine has they too. Did they leave the factory like that!

Brilliant work as usual Mr.

Once this is considered finished, the thread must be moved to epic builds. Immediately!

Woo Hoo, thanks to wifey having a girls night in I was banished from the living and dining rooms for the night

That only leaves me the hobby room and garage in which to entertain myself.....Shame! I decided to have a go at making this..

The spare wheel carrier

Some brake pipe, 1mm sheet brass, bolts from my spare 1.55 wheel, MAPP gas and brazing rod. The results.

With a shot of acid etch primer.

Made brackets too.

Not bad for a "free" evening's work

Get your wife a hobby! She'll then get obsessed and you'll get more time in the shop!

tried that and it kinda backfired, I'm either helping her with her dolls house project or looking after the 'lil one so she can work on the dolls house!!!

Well near perfect but pretty darn close

Got the wheel carrier fitted now, just need to reduce one fog light lens to clear the carrier

The real one

My effort

Opening of course

Not worried that I haven't done the "do not slam" yet, it's the other huge smeg up that I noticed that worries me
