Small update fer' yen's...
I got a motor mount, servo mount and t-case mount made up..
I know, you're thinking.."your servo is in the wrong spot, Stupid"...
However, I have a trick up my sleeve that should work just fine.. You'll just have to wait for that.

Pics!

This is so impressive .My brain is having trouble processing the fact that it looks like a 1/10 scale chassis with a giant servo connector the size of a smartphone.

Thanks guys..
Small update... I've not got a transfer case built. Man, was THAT a pain in the keister!
I officially decided on a body, the Fiat 125p Kombi 4x4.
This truck was originally built with IFS...But this is MY build, so I'll do what I want!

Almost everything is in order at this point, just a couple of minor tweaks here and there including some body work for some extra clearance. I also need to get the electronics all dialed in before the final build up.

Well kids.... Here's a roller!

Thanks guys...

Jonny- I found the 0.4M bevel gears, transfer gears and universals on aliexpress.com originally. They seem to come and go on that website though. You can find the gears on amazon also, they are just about 5 times as much $.
The micro universal joints can also be found on tiny4x4.com under the DAS87 drivetrain section. Just have to keep checking back with them and stock up when you get the chance. They are out of stock most of the time.

I'm working on making a fixture to be able to machine the parts for the universal joints. If I have any success and can make some good sets I'll let you know.

Sorry for the delay on updates... With this whole crisis going on, my company has decided to eliminate my position, unfortunately. So, most of my free time is spent getting into a new shop and has not been fruitful at all...

The transfer case and originally planned powerhouse of this rig didn't turn out to be what I had hoped, so I've redesigned a t-case and a larger motor with more reduction to make up for the stalling that I was experiencing.
The parts have been machined , but still need some tweaking to get a smooth roll.

There will be more to come, just bare with me as times are a little tough at the moment and personal projects have been set on the back burner.
I'll get some pics up soon on the progress, as soon as I have some extra time.

I've come too far to not complete this project, so just keep checking back!
