Your too kind not sure its quite good enough for a museum yet tho

not much done but I knew the fiddly bits would slow things down...

These took over an hour each and they ain't perfect... grrr (still hate hinges )

To true, maybe that's why those hinges are now "spare". Speaking of which, I also have a drivers door which is 2mm short, most of a roof which is a bit wide and the rear wing I made in the video going spare if you want those too

Again not a biggy but at least I have a couple of hinges worth using (The bolt holding the two halves together is only a temp thing) sorry about the picture quality


And balancing on the door (to cheer me up!!)


Only two more hinges to make, yay the end is nigh (for hinges)

As for those hinges.....well they drove me mad !!

Finally I have something worth showing Just lately I seem to have been going round in circles and backwards

The hinges have been started and scrapped so many times I lost count, true, only having a dremmel on a pillar stand and some hand tools doesn't help matters but even so.....ARGH

Then I decided I wasn't entirely happy with my doors and re-made those too, also finished all the door shuts now. Here's some pics (new doors on the outside) you can see they are much slimmer


Now they fit better....old one

Got them fitted today
Closed


Open (as doors do!)






Next job is the door handles/latch mechanism, can't imagine these will be any easier than the hinges but they are quite important...

good on you for going back and making the doors over! It would have eaten away at you for ever. I have also ran into the same problem with my 5 ton and now I have to go back and move my entire rear suspension back by an inch or so...Its a make it or brake it kinda thing...
