Default Cross PG-4L build

Found a truck I wanted to build, frame finished, suspension parts built. After receiving the kit, realized it does not have an interior.

Does have complete lighting, ditch, head, roof, brake, reverse and tail lights. All that is designed to live in the cab. Personally I would rather have had an interior, the lighting is ok, well see.

The Cross trucks look really cool. Hell of a shop you got there.

Thanks bluedually, my half of the garage.

Not much for the time it took. Copied the drawing off the plans, then an hour passes. Finally, get both sides perpendicular and centered. Pulled the big drill out and poked some holes in the bumper.

Test fitted them, they swing free not binding

Thanks Ramjet,

Steering wheel cover is a bit heavy, will see may or may not change it. Looks gross in the photo, but not so bad real life

Picked up something I was not aware of and will pursue.

Giving creds too Bluedualy for it

He posted that he had NAPA mix his color, single stage, placed in a rattle can.

I have used NAPA paint, was not aware it could be mixed, for a rattle can application.

Got me thinking, yes that is the burning smell.
Why not have a color mixed for rattle can, instead of loading it in a spray bomb.

Store it in a bottle .....instant airbrush mix. I must experiment, model paint is stupid @ 1 - 2oz.
Do not normally complain about the cost of things. But the paint deal is off the chart, I may find the pigment size questionable, trying to use it with the airbrush

The state of the Truck build

Was able to get some painting done, body trim parts, cab & bed. Trim parts dried well enough to move to a corner.

The body parts, took 3 cans and a few coats to get it in color. Weather getting cooler, I will let it stay where it sits for a few days.

Have plenty to do in the mean time
