i have always said i was going to build some type of structure like this. I always thought it would end up being a doll house for my at that point future daughter.

Now i have a much better idea. I will be watching this for sure.

I've always wanted to build a dollhouse, but I guess this is more manly and I can put my toy trucks in it. Win win situation.

Instead of experimenting with the floor, I started making siding. I made a styrene mold and used it to form my siding sheets. Then I shot it with the quintessential pole barn color.

Long way to go

Your Pole Barn is looking great, and the siding is a very creative idea.
I used diluted premixed stucco patch to simulate cinder block on the wall of my photo booth.

there is a hobby lobby in Kent. I have never been to it looks like it may be worth a trip.

Funny I was gonna suggest vacu forming the siding you think you could pull of a "aluminum" Garage door with the vacu form??

Rich, that siding looks great! Nice job, you have many more sheets of siding to create! But it will be worth the look when its done!

I'll get my post going this weekend.

Many pics to post of it already.

How did you form the siding? I must have missed it.

There is also a closer one in Medina, but that's still quite a ways from Amherstucky. At first I was going to vacuum form the siding, but it would have taken longer to heat it and form it. Plus, nothing is more realistic than the real thing. You be wanting a vacuum formed garage door for yours? I might be of some help if you need one.

Lucky for me the garage door is on the unfinished side! Purely a coincidence... I still might try it though.

Thanks. I just so happened to make a little video. Not that it's hard to explain, but it shows how quickly it can be done.

What size could you make? I guess my first step would be to start on a building before making the doors I will know more this weekend if I will do one I have to try something out and see if I like the result first

My former might not be big enough, its about 11" square.

I'm about 1/3 done with the walls. I also made a man door and roughed in a window. Ya know, to take the place of siding.

Knock knock, who's there?

O HAI!

Sweeeeet

I want to build a loft or something in the other corner. Storage underneath and maybe a hangout pad upstairs. Maybe a TV, who knows!
