Default Micro-Mark Milling Machine

Finally pulled the trigger on a machine I've been wanting for many years. Just finished the assembly and alignments. Normally it's $824 + $98 shipping but Micro-Mark had a 20% off sale on Cyber Monday. Ended up as $757.91 at my door.

Vices and cutting tools were extra, of course.
Assembly manual could have been a bit better but if you have good mechanical knowledge it's fairly straight forward. It took me about 5 hours to complete but I had to take quite a few breaks due to back problems. It's not a lightweight, it's 110 lbs.

Nice. Just remember that it isn't a big, heavy duty mill. Small, slow cuts, and don't try to take off too much metal in one pass. It sure will make it easier to make any parts you want.

I don't plan to do any heavy duty work with it. My only intention, when I got it, was to use it for aluminum, brass or plastic. I'll only be using the chuck for precision drilling, but I had to test it. I have collets on the way along with a few other accessories.
I chose this unit since it's totally up-gradable to power feeds and CNC.
