What kind of "finish" are you thinking? the old, worn paint patina look would be perfect... like in the last inspiration pic you posted....

Bad news though. I gave the body away yesterday to a local friend...lol.

These were very simple to cut.
The tread pattern had tight seams to follow for the cut. Being sure to use a New Exacto blade and go very slow for cutting. In the past Ive found that the less you squish and deform the tire while cutting, the better the results.
I'm far the the perfect tire cutter, But this seemed to work out fantastic for me.

Here is a pic of the waste. You can see the tread pattern as the lines i used to cut out the centers. About 3/8 of an inch i removed.

As for rim, I did about the same method. Then sanded both cut edges Flat, and re-glued them up.
Now I'm waiting for that one project to put them on. I still may do the 57 chevy pickup gasser...?

I'll be getting this back and Finishing...Yea !
Thinking It's probably going to be a Puller for the new sled my father and I have been Designing and building.
