Today I (almost) finished the engine housing by adding some of the details.
I had to fiddle around with it but I think it was worth the effort.

After that I began sanding the front, I realy love doing this
But now the basic lines of the new cab begin to stand out. I think I like the overall view more than the old one's

That's it for today

Here's a small update for you. I started working on some of the interior details:
I also finished the spare wheel holder and some other stuff that is mounted on the fenders:

I'm going to use screws to fix those parts on the fender, so it's easier to paint them.

The last thing for today are the frontlights. I used brass for those guard grids.

That's all for now. Hope you like it.

Short update for today. I worked on those position light housings (or whatever you call them). Was a bit tricky, especially because I had to do it 20 times

I also did some detail work, like installing the light unit or adding rivets and handholds on the cab.

Hope you like it!

At the moment I'm working on some of the rear details:

Still a lot to do but I was very busy building another truck, M1070 HET
If you're interested I could show some of the building pictures.

Good to see I'm not the only one spending years on years on a project! That is a beautiful piece of art.
