Is that one of those "Bratz" things? I've thought about looking into one of those after someone posted a picture of one here before, but could never convince myself to buy one. More details please!

Hey that's pretty cool! you may have to trim the wheel arches to fit a good set of tires under their??

Neat that the lights are already setup.......

yes it's a brat's car...and yes thats a 1/10 scale nissan in front of it...the truck is very close to 1/10....the wheelbase is about 2" longer than my tamiya tamiya touring car...a tamiya taureg chassis would be perfect! I'm going to glue the doors and stuff shut so they won't be coming open while driving and to strengthen the body, then Im going to repaint it a desert tan color and flat black the bumpers and grill. ditch the interior and make a fill in plate with the tops of the front seats on it (make it look as if it has an interior) and I might reshape the fender lips...make them rounder and open them up slightly...

and the coolest thing is the batteries for the lights are under the hood and won't need to be moved...easy replacement!! and they are all LEDS so they will last longer too.

I'm almost positive that the long wheelbase XCs are 10.5" from center to center of the wheels.

looks like a good project....

whats the plan? I mean its been designed to not quite look like a landrover(presumabley for copyright issues), so are ya gonna re-work it a lil to make 100% landy? or what?

I'm surely going to go for the landrover "look" with a snorkel...mabey a roof rack w a few things in it...a bullbar w a winch...more lights up top...custom paint...some body armour (aluminum ) I'll probably redo the headlights to be more authentic looking...and redo the fender lips too...but I'm not going to try to make it 100% authentic tho...the rest is close enough for me...

I might even go so far as to make a custom chassis for it with tlt axles...I'll probably need some taller wheels than the tamiya bfg's tho...
