This gets better every time I check this thread.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I thought you might want to see this, and it probably doesn't deserve it's own thread anyways, since so few of us have the rc-channel kit.

On the off chance they might work I ordered some TA-01 CVDs from rcmart:

I had to put three traxxas fiber washers on the CVD to get the proper clearance between the hex/brake drum and knuckle, it was a little too far out otherwise. I don't have the truck together yet, but an impromptu testing didn't reveal any binding in the range of motion, even though the bones sit a little further into the diff drive cup then stock.

I just stuck a small spring inside each inner outdrive cup and an O-ring inside the axle drive cups and everything works great.
