Default Self Healing pads

Pretty sure there are good, real good, yawn, and crap categories for these. I would like to know what name brands are good to real good.

And any features to look for, not meaning ruled lines. More interested in how the surface last or heals.

thanks

i scavenged a large one (24x36 with markings 20x32) from work that they were going to throw out because someone get very aggressive with a rotary type cutter on it.. put a couple of very deep cuts in it near the middle. It is an "Enduromat" from Sign Warehouse (i work for a print shop)
for my needs it works just fine and aside from those deep cuts it barely looks used at all except in the one corner that I use all the time (it has been on my desk in the same spot for almost 3 yrs now) I could rotate it 180 degrees and have a nice clean corner again, lol

I generally use Band-Aids in some comical form. I find when I remove them, BAM! Self healed...
