The question was asked on Youtube to better show the battery tray configurations, so I took a pic of how it is shown on the box.

Of course the Wheely King was designed with different intent in mind, so it's not a direct comparison.

I am just going to say it, that truck is hideous, and the changes that were made on this model are insignificant. The body is really the ruining factor for me, it just reminds me of a real life poor mans monster truck build.

Good thing is, you can change the body with ease!

LOVE the video! The axial I could care less about, but your son is pure scale entertainment. My 2.5 year old saw one of my trucks on the bench the other day and I let him drive. He loved it. I ran the throttle and he steered. It was so cool. Finally I can justify my scale obsession to my wife. It's for the kids!

Axial will either send you another one or issue a cease order! Awesome vid. made my night.

Glad you liked it. Charlie likes to watch the trucks run and loves to sit in my lap and play with the tx with me. He'll usually steer as I control the throttle as you do.

How would this rig do with 2.2 panther paddles? Do you think it would be a good formula base?

Well..... This was the first time I've ever seen a Ridgecrest run.......
I only just got back into the Hobby about 2 years ago.

I can now see why they fell off so quickly! HIGH center of gravity, *** heavy, stiff suspension, poor gearing, too hot of a Motor.... And PAINTED OVER WINDOWS????
Just seems like an Overpriced, Fast Trail Rig, that's hardly Scale!

My Wraith is possibly the BEST all-around Rig I've ever had. And with 60 Tooth Spur and 10 Tooth Pinion, with 43/13 gears in both Diffs and a 6-pole, 9 slot Motor, she will Crawl with the best of them, and is pretty quick when I need it!!

That Ridgecrest seemed to do NOTHING well. Axial's done MUCH better since. I believe that, and the EXO, were Axial's only real Duds!
