Heh, "great ideas", normally people just say "weird ideas", or they suggest other things i'm possibly full of...

The last couple meets i'd been to that had a pulling sled, had it set up for a semi 5th wheel so i couldn't try my bumper pull hitch dumptruck. None of the rock crawlers had one before they went off to that facething to post about meets.

Mail man gets strange Gov breaks now, "oh it's too cold, snowy, hot, pretend holiday." not the old-school "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds". Propane-guy has to go to work or people freeze. (Propane Guy is a weird superhero, but he's got a cool vehicle, and ya know he's not lying when he kicks in doors and says "i've got gas!")

Thanks for detail pic, i hadnt noticed seatpost was even bolted. I like the fork bearing nut too. That's really slick
Thanks frizz.
I get to set down at the bench finally and drool on my self.
I have some ideas on making my wheels for the cruiser. But thinking I'm ready to dive into a farm truck.

Not sure If I'll make it static or functional … See how far it comes along and turns out first for body.

I like this look and year's of fords.
Lots of them in my area and Ive even got a good start of side profiles made from Sintra/komacel. Plus "metal masher" is constructing one out of aluminum .005 material.
So that's where insperation is leading me.
See what happens today.

I don't want to blow up this thread with 20 pages for construction of the Ford.
But here ya go.
I forgot I had to finish construction and shaping of the passenger side of profile.
But here are the basics.
I'm no 3D printer...Hand crafted..bare with me.ahahaha

I think it takes a 4D printer, or a 4D mill, or a whole bunch of wood elves.

Nice pickup! Wow that was quick

LOL
You guys are crazy...
Thanks again for following along in this journey.

Purple and blue taters. For real. Great for stews. I can get you all some.

Lets see. Talked with Harry/Bullitt last night and he helped a bunch with wheel choice and tires. 1.7's will have to be ordered because of tire selection for 1.55's. He has some very nice scale dually's in 1.55's I still may buy.
But it would mean cutting some 1.7's down...
Fredreik posted me up some 1.7 Semi tires..the retread ones on another forums.
I like the looks of them. Probably be going that direction.
I'll be making my order the end of this week.
Hope to start the bed too. Dimond plate will also have to be ordered..

Lots of sanding and carving left on the truck. Hood is still a flat plank and needs lots of love.
See what time I get and what I can accomplish this week.
Thanks again everyone.
