All best wishes to you and your family.
A very close friend of mine had almost exactly the course of chemo that you describe. His was also colon cancer. I remember so well what a difficult time it was for him. Tough on the body, tough on the soul, tough on all those around you.
But he, like you, was a fighter. And he beat it.
After months of that chemo, surgery to remove the tumor, more chemo, and then weekly checks, and then fortnightly checks, and then monthly checks, now he is at a point where he has to go to the hospital only every 2 or 3 months. And his life is back to normal. Well as good as. He is back at work, back riding bikes. Doing the things he loves to do.
You will get there, too.
Stay positive. Like everyone here, I am amazed at the spirit you have shown. If anyone can beat it, you can beat it.
We are all here for you.

Well you are not the only one. Same here, just keep believing you can fight your cancer. Believe in yourself is an important part.
