Im not a person of many words when it comes to this kinda stuff.
I never got the chance to actually talk with Tim or anything, but just from hearing about him and how he treated others i can tell he was the kinda person that shouldnt have left us so early.

Unfortunately Life has its own plan.

Tim, you will be missed.
Im drinking one for you tonight

i didnt know tim personaly, but, ive read most of the threads now,and read the last thread that he posted, when i hear of someone passing away i feel bad and also respectful of there accomplishments, but, tim struck a different cord with me,this guy just wanted to get better and build more rc's and enjoy life after the cancer has passed,i prays tim for that(id do the same thing)but!!when a guy like tim passes away before his thread has been finished really tares me up,and i feel he needs as much respect for this as we can give him.....we love ya tim.....

Ah, what a long road this must have been- very saddened by the news. From personal experience with my mother, cancer is an extreme ordeal and the good part is that KC went fighting. Though I've only been blessed enough to speak with him on several occasions through PMs and such, it is easy to see why he will be so sorely missed. The content and personality that Tim added to the board was phenomenal, and it was him who got me started in scale with his 1/8 Camaro. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, and I wish him all the best wherever he may be. Truly an inspirational person, and my Camaro will be dedicated in his memory when finished, hopefully with the same detail and precision that he would have done it himself. I'll keep you in my thoughts Tim, your builds are truly something to cherish, and it is my hope that they will be preserved in some way in a collection in honor of your memory.

Rest in peace and God Speed brother,

Tom.

Ahhh man. I got the news last night.

Absolutely terrible.

I didn't know him personally, but I knew him and his builds on the board and I've been following along.

I was really shocked. I thought he was going through a rough time, but because of his age, and the fact that he was still active right up until the end, I thought he was going to be able to get through this.

When someone dies, it really reminds you that life is too short, and it makes you appreciate it a lot more.

I have to say, I've had a very bummed out feeling since I heard the news.

I really enjoyed talking about our VW Beetle's. He made me look like a beginner and I loved it. It really makes me want to get up and get to it. Finish those projects!

Tim, you will be missed, an inspiration to us all. rip.

Apologies if this bumps the thread, I've been away from s4x4 for a while, I'd no idea we lost KC, I'm in shock...

RIP Tim, an inspirational and gifted member, and good egg!

My condolences to his family.

I only knew him casually from the Board here, but it's impossible not to repeat the word "Inspiration".....I'm a firm believer that your personal traits are reflected in your work, and more so in what you do for the pure love of it than what you get paid to do. Using this as a guide to judge Tim's character, his builds showed him to be patient, competant above average, skilled, dedicated, inventive, helpful, quality-minded and had a great eye for what looked good. I can't imagine his approach to his life and family was any different. He showed great courage in facing his impending demise: I don't know how I'd deal with the knowledge that I'd be gone soon, but can only hope I could face it with the same decorum and integrity as Tim. I hope his family decides to keep his cars mint & on display as a memorial to his passion and what can be achieved when one aspires to excellence and does not compromise their vision. Tim, you will indeed truly be missed: Now I'll have to think up my own ideas on future Bug builds. Rest in peace, Chris

I am so soory to here of the loss to the boarsd and to the family of such a great man. Knowing him only from the site was only knowing part of one of the nicest people you could ever have meet or known. R.I.P man and my thoughs and prayers will go to your family to help them through a very rough time. I wish that I had logged in sooner than this so I wouldn't feel like I've been on the lazy train. You will be missed and your builds will still inspire many who join even though your gone...

Cool Good Bye Friend

From the first time I had seen KingCobra work I was impressed. Rc driver had the Heavy Metal Hummer. What amazing work and detail. This is truly a guy the RC family will miss. God bless his family, friends and all that knew him.

Heres to you
RIP KC (tim)
Love and best wishes h2oboy21 (tanner)
