That's awesome. I notice your use of shoe goo. I wonder how many people use it for shoes? I use it for everything. And yes, I even used it for shoes once! LOL. That sure is some awesome detail that grew up from rotted wood! Looks like half the houses I saw in Alaska! LOL.

love your cabin. I've got a few buildings & a cat that looks just like that. I've had my eye out for one of his left over voles. A european water vole looks a helva lot like a 1:10 beaver:

but... seenin' as how I don't live in europe....

Anyway, cool cabin & nice accesories.

a stain you can make for the old wood is a steel wool pad and a half gallon of water, put the pad in and sit it in the sun ,when it is ready to use just use it like a stain ,
and you can use a steel wool pad and vinegar also
this turns the wood grey with streaks of darker in it
ol yellow is what started it for myself and son long long time ago and far away
