This is so incredible Preston...just fabulous!!!! The time and brain cells you had to use to make the hinges work so well, is soooo over-the-top.

Love it...

Trini
I'm still blown away by your skills, persintence and Loyality to this fantastic build.

What a build/thread !!!!!

I Remembered you swapping axles over leafs to hunker the car down for stance. I'm going to be doing that for my willy build...hehehee
I used yours for refrence ...again.
Opended up a ton of new insperation. I forgot how far and all the work into your chassis was accomplished...Wowzer.
So thanks for page 19 threw 25.

I will be going with the simple blocks on axle to begin with.
Doubt I will be doing SDI axles although they would be sweet.
NO $ to spend on that kind of stuff...ahahahaa

any whooooo
Hats off to ya man....I'll probably start on page 1 again this week and go back threw the whole thread.
STAY THE PATH..
so much greatness in this thread...freakin awesome build.

And ..Thanks for such a fun ride and journey...

Hey thanks 2Beers! Man that Willys turned out sweet! Can’t wait to see it on the modded chassis! Yeah...that TF2 chassis is too jacked up for a stock type suspension...you may also have to change out to shorter shocks... not sure though...ha!

I’m happy to report that photobucket finally pulled their heads out from that dark place and all their pics are back up! I transferred about half of the pics to Flickr, but just never found the time to do the rest, but now it’s all back up! Sweet!
I’m also reading through the thread and having a good laugh and reminiscing about the journey...lol... lots of good times there!

Im in upstate NY since yesterday for work, will be here till Labor Day...but I did bring the Sandman with me as I want to put on the stickers and try to get the plugs and plug wires installed. Also want to get the carpet laid down in the cab and get the seats and door cards installed. So will have some actual Sandman updates soon!
I also brought my Blazer body and will probably start a thread on it as I have a few ideas I want to try that I will eventually transfer to the Holdens. Will see how that goes....lol...but the hood hinges and hood latch worked out ok so hoping that the other stuff will pan out lol !
