Still no luck finding the gray/white i want. Thinking about silver/white since i picked up some for the Econoline & Fiero projects, but it's not a factory color.

I "plead the 5th'' about how much i might have been playing with that lever through the back passenger window, or possibly making noises while doing it.

Figured the ''Can i borrow...'' might start, but other than at 2 meets a year there aren't a lot of people around helping play with trucks this size. Plus kinda puts the rest of them off borrowing when they realize the cargo capacity.
Sucks getting paid for use in 1/14 scale pizza and beer, not satisfying.

Your local auto paint supplier should be able to mix up a touch up spray can in any colour you want. Being single layer non metallic, should be fine without clear coat too.

'Rc everyday' just had a video where he moved a yellow VW bug that was sitting on top of his new garage... with painted fuchs
so with a little searching, i just learned that the Tamiya m06 chassis has
a porsche 911 with Fuchs 'hubcaps' that bolt on to a rim,
or vw Type 1 & 2 with stamped steelies with hubcaps,
or mini cooper with 8 spokes that look like an Empi 8.

M06 uses 38mm tall rims, so it could be able to trim into hubcaps and make my smooth rims bead area into tires. If i can find part numbers.

9335219 are the vw beetle wheels. I think those are the ones used on the new Type 2 too.

Sweet, thanks wombii

So possibly
Vw chrome steelies - 19335219
Mini wheels that look Empi 8 Spoke - 50569 / 50676
Porsche 911 carerra rsr caps look like Fuchs - 19335704 / hpi 3918 / 3928

Here's that car, he mentions hpi cup racer wheels, and 1.55 in another one

I think those 911 caps might be for a tt-02 and not m class, so you might want to double check the size. They might be 1.9

HPI also did a 911 in the m size. HPI-3918 for the wheels.

Edit: I think I have those 8 spokes on a mini. Let me know if you want something measured.

Yes i would like some measurements specifically absolute OD around the tire bead area. Or i might be able to make parts for a whole rim upgrade. 8 spokes are great and still keep enough German-look instead of Cal-look

Originally I couldn't find anything about movable suspension on a 'junk toy grade car'. If i had a pan car or something 4 wheel ifs, there's TONS of ideas...

Brass hingey thing ties to chassis at front steering gearbox mounts. Equipped with knuckle pushrods, and side plates to keep it over knuckles. Some mechanical advantage, string, metal gear servo.

Sorry, turns out I was wrong. What I have are the 5 spokes ( 50972 ), and I used some quality tire glue. I can however say that the max diameter of the rims are 41.5mm, both inside the tire and visible on the front.

This finally got its own RX so i can stop stealing an outfit for testing. I did learn my Flysky fsi6 let me bind 2 rx onto the same model memory, so it may be able to do the single radio 2-trucking thing.

At the rate i'm burning through year, the Sept meet is going to come pretty quickly. Worst case i'm hoping atleast to do the beltline and window chrome so it's not all black, make some plated Mini 8-spoke hubcaps, and chop down a broken bluetooth speaker make a mount to ride in the cab. I really want the sexy paint and the lights and an interior and...

It's got to be cool enough to run (maybe with a small convoy) out of the rabbit barn, down the paved paths, around the Car show and Bicycle show areas. Be cool over there around actual show cars while i'm checking out stuff, then head back to our Rabbit Barn.

It looks like i'm trying to firmly solidify the 'Weird Van Guy' thing now that a Dodge Tradesman body has arrived (1970s Boogie Van!) but atleast i have no chassis planned yet. Got the teal vw bay bus, this vw split truck, the type 2 & 3 ambulances, red vw bay bus... the Lunchbox is the length of a VW bus, width of the AMC Matador, so i'm calling it 1/14 not the listed 1/12.

Looks like i've basically missed out on any of the japanese Peanuts Club 1/14 Toyota HiAce, or the Hitari 1/15 GMC Vandura A-Team vans by "trying to finish something" before buying other projects. That'll teach me.

A "double trucking" video has to be on the to do list doesn't it?

If any of these vehicles are available in Oz and you need help to get them across the pond, let me know if I can do anything to make it happen.

If my radios capible, i'd probably want to do it on another tx so i could change to both sticks centering or it'd take even more brain power to be like Vr1 & ch3 for one, right stick for other. Plus I'd need a big pile of practice to want to record an attempt at double-trucking.

I'm not sure what's available over there. I really appriceate the offer, but i'm aware shipping anything to/from there is pretty horribly expensive. At some point it goes from 'Get it' to 'Get a used semi instead' type money.

Yeah I know what you mean with shipping, we get ripped all over the place even with local delivery charges. What's the shopping list if you have one and are we talking bnib or good second hand stuff? When I'm trying to keep myself awake while the girls snooze I'll see what I can find down under. I saw the comment on the General being an overseas market and hard to find in the states, maybe we got the other ones from the UK /Japanese markets?

Found this one in South Australia, don't know if that makes it reasonable price?

I found a place with a new Delorean available for under 50 us shipped.

NewBright is doing a 1/16 charger daytona, so that probably takes the 'f&f 5 challenger daytona' off list to build a superbird

The HiAce and A-Team vans are about all i can remember i wanted.

New in box is nice, but i'm not "that type" of collector. I'm good with decent used stuff, heck the stuff i've converted wasn't even all that decent.
