Wow, I never realized that it was a micro. It definitely has the detail of a 1.6.

On the contrary - beer cans are very cool. (Or they should be - who wants warm beer?)

Seriously, you have built a fine model there, made even more impressive by your use of metal as a material. However you are up against some very stiff competition, and with this being a scale build-off, scale paintwork, proportions and accessories count for a lot.

hairba11's jeep should be an inspiration to us all, reusing/recycling materials and turning it into true art.

thanks guys, at least there was a pity vote
i put mine in for mgc's rig. it was incredible although the terrain helped make the photo. truly looks like i 1:1 instead of a pile of scrap.
Dready's wagoneer is incredible too, especially him knocking the thing out in basically a couple of weeks.
getting to the point here where slapping a body on a couple of axles and calling it scale doesn't work anymore.
i just have a hard time working on a rig once i get it driving. that's why i waited till the last week to get my transmission in the scrap heep, if it had been running a month before it would have never gotten an interior, but it probably would have a few more action shots.
and as i said in my build thread, including the cost of beer, i have about $40 tied up in a rig which really was random metal and loose parts in the shop. i call that a win
