Default Bad crash with Little Zeus today!!!!!!

hello everyone yes my prized number one truck crashed today.i was out with my wife while she was shopping and decided to run zeus with my cattle trailer(i usually carry 1 or 2 trucks with me..playtime is anytime!!)i was in full throttle and decided to walk over to a place to sit down while running my truck and i tripped over a rock(my throttle/steering is on the same stick) my thumb accidently moved the stick to the left from the trip just at the same time zeus was barrelling next to a cement curb and then POW it turned right into the cement curb hitting it front left corner head on.the damage is far worse than it looks

i bent the frame in 3 spots, the front left shackle /leaf spring is bent really bad,the front crossmember?bumper mount is twisted, the front bumper on the left side has a really bad scratch in it (which i can sand and polish it out if its not too deep)the left front headlight rock guard is crimped down the middle(i will make another set).so this morning i started the teardown process only to find more damage

as you can see everything is shifted to the right.i femoved the body and mfu electrics to find that the left side frame rail is pushed back so bad that the crossmebers from the front to midway of the frame are crooked, the driveshaft (not the stock wishbone one)in the rear u-joint one of the eyelets is broken so i will need to replace the deiveshaft, the tranny case has a small crack in it which means there could be some damage inside the tranny .upon thinking about it today i decided to get another brand new king hauler kit and rebuild with all new stuff, thankfully no damage to the bodybecause the solid aluminum bumper took the brunt of the hit .i always have spare sets of frame rails just in case so i started the rebuild process already with new frame rails and the extensions out of the old one.i would hate to use the old parts only to find that the truck doesn't run right and then have to go back and redo again.so i guess i just inherited a parts chassis

That sucks, good thing you had that bumper, I'd hate to see you have to redo that paint job.

That's incredible :-(

do you have a full chassis lenght picture from under the truck ?

Did the 5th wheel plate get damaged too ? (between the trailer push and the frame rail shift)

yes it certainly was pretty good damage unfortunately i don't have pics of the underside of the truck.i have the old frame stripped and the new one started already,my cattle trailer did not get damaged because when the truck hit ,it spun sideways into a jacknife where the trailer pushed it.the fifth wheel did not get damaged nor did the mounting bolts and holes.and when the truck hit the curb after the trailer pushed it .it stopped dead so the trailer did not go into the corner of the bunk like a regular jacknife which is a good thing and the body is ok also.like i said before if i had the stock plastic bumper it would have been worse.the hit was hard because zeus weighs more than the average kinghauler does.everything is pretty much aluminum on it ..grille,front and rear bumpers and full set of aluminum rims both inside and outside the average kinghauler weighs around 9lbs zeus tips the scales at around 12lbs+ ..thanks for the kind sympathatic words guys it hurts but at least i can rebuild it and it will be back up and running with new parts very soon..again thanks everyone,i will be posting pics of the rebuild process in this thread..
