It looks a lot more normal with the lunchbox or pumpkin behind it, but those wouldn't be as successful in the comp

the datsun looks good on the trailer too.
the clod body is pushing the limits.

but it almost did what I wanted it to do, move 30 lbs of rig, tools, spares, trailer and comp rig a 1/4 mile and almost back.

thanks guys, it is a blast to drive. still a slow walk, but with the amount of weight on board I wouldn't want to try and push it much faster.

well, somebody had asked how much stuff I had packed in the 'bago, so i took a pic

Unfortunately somewhere between the return trip from lake 35, and being packed in with 6 other rigs and bouncing around in my trunk for a week, the rear axle broke.

I spent about 45 minutes trying to get the whole rear end un mounted and apart. where i drilled through for the mount bolts went right through the spot where i welded it togehter top and bottoem leaving only the front and back to support 20 lbs of winnie.

I got it all apart, and am letting some plastistrux cure right now. I'll see how it feels, and back it up with more weld. I think I have some leftover wheely king lower links that would be the same material I could use for filler, maybe as a reinforcing plate for the front and back of the axle
